ESSENZA kimono Pete is a true must-have as it is both comfortable and classic at the same time. The kimono falls down to the calves and has a beautiful tie belt. Pete is executed in the decorative ornamental print Tesse which is characterised by stylisation, symmetry and the repetition of a motif. ESSENZA found inspiration for this print through an etching dating back to 1817 from the Rijksmuseum archives. Kimono Pete is made from the natural modal fabric in combination with cotton. Modal is made from the pulp of beech wood and is, due to its softness, the perfect fabric for underwear and pyjamas. This woven variety with subtle shine is considered to be a very luxurious fabric and has in this instance been blended with cotton and elastane for extra durability. The fabric is soft, drapes loosely around the body and has a comfortable stretch.
