The rich fabric, the mid-rise waist and the elastic waistband with draw string make these into the perfect pyjama trousers. ESSENZA trousers Mare are executed in the decorative ornamental print Tesse which is characterised by stylisation, symmetry and the repetition of a motif. The original of this print is an etching dating back to 1817 from the Rijksmuseum archives. Mare is made from the sustainable modal fabric combined with cotton. Modal is made from the pulp of beech wood and is, due to its softness, the perfect fabric for underwear and pyjamas. This woven variety with subtle shine is considered to be a very luxurious fabric and has in this instance been blended with cotton and elastane for extra durability. The fabric is soft, drapes loosely around the body and has a comfortable stretch.
