A fine, yarn dyed pied de poules in a two-tone. The other side shows the same pied de poules in a slightly contrasting two-tone that creates a playful look when turned over. This duvet cover is made from a GRS-certified mixture of 50% cotton, 30% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester resulting in a soft yarn dyed duvet cover that is supple to the touch. The recycled cotton is made from old clothes, textiles and cutting waste from factories. By adding new cotton as well as recycled polyester, the material becomes extra soft and strong, extending the longevity of the blend. The GRS-certificate (Global Recycled Standard) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content, and labeling. A product needs to contain at least 50% recycled materials in order to require a consumer-facing labelling.
