The Chess shows a modern interpretation of the classic Vichy check as the pattern is placed in a larger scale. When you look at the print up close, you’ll discover a subtle play of contrasts; part of the check is made up of an enormous amount of tiny blocks. The use of two main colours give the Chess rest and elegance. Turn the duvet over and discover a unique two-coloured stripe in the same colours, which are again built up from tiny blocks.
Cotton sateen is, without a doubt, our favourite fabric for bedding. Cotton sateen is made from 100% natural cotton and therefore has the same characteristics as other cotton fabrics: breathability and moisture-wicking properties. A cotton sateen duvet cover feels much softer and smoother than a ‘normal’ cotton cover due to the special sateen weave that gives the fabric its sheen. The result is a fabric that looks and feels luxurious.
